The Clean Air Act, federal law implemented by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), requires that all HVAC manufacturers cease producing equipment using the ozone-depleting R-22 refrigerant on January 1, 2010.
An ozone-friendly replacement refrigerant has been developed called R-410A. Temp Control LLC only offers products using R-410A.
